Just what the internet needs, another Banksy tribute website!
But for better or worse, the Banksy Effect has had an undeniable impact on the modern art scene. The man (most likely Robin Gunningham) is a creative genius and deserves to be more popular than some well-known artists of the 21st century like the overrated Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. We would also go further: the originality and versatility of his work should be celebrated on par with the greats (e.g. Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh, Rembrandt), despite the sketchy nature of his medium. Yes, he's that talented!
Not convinced, consider the biting social commentary in his Dismaland exhibit, or his intro for the TV show The Simpsons:
